Lorraine Turner Blount died in Madison on Thursday, December 22, 2016.
Lorraine was born on January 4, 1923, in Philadelphia MS to her parents, Horace and Arwin Turner.
Lorraine married Clayton Blount and lived in Decatur MS where they raised their sons Dan, Sam and David. She has seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Lorraine’s unconditional love and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all.
Lorraine lived in the Sunnybrook Retirement Home in Madison for the past several years, where she received loving support by the staff there, for which her Family will forever be grateful. Special thanks to Angie Johnson, Patricia Davis Johnson, and Lesa Wells for their loving care at Sunnybrook. Thanks also to Wanda Lancaster, Janette Thrash, and Ruby Vallas for their loving and caring friendship for many years.
