Locena Katherine (Rieger) Bensinger
Locena Katherine (Rieger) Bensinger, age 94, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to the Lord August 22, 2015. She was born January 10, 1921 to the late Walter and Hallie (Durkee) Rieger of Ionia. She was married to William M. Bensinger in 1941. She lived most of her life in Ionia until 2009 when she moved to Norwalk, Ohio to spend time with her family. She was a neighborhood mother to the Morse Street area kids for many years and always had a place for them to hang out. Serving the First Christian Church DOC as a lifelong member, she was a good Christian.
