Lloyd J. Whittemore

Born March 22, 1928 at Sparrow Hospital, and has been a Lansing resident his whole life. Lloyd was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the 4th Infantry 2nd Division. He was a life member of V.F.W. Post #6132 and past Commander of the Post from 1960-1961. He also was a member of the Lyons-Muir Post #4646. He retired from Michigan State in March of 1990 after 30 1/2 years, the last 20 years working as food Supervisor at the Kellogg Center. Lloyd was a charter member of the Lansing Community Circle Players. Surviving are one niece Vickie Van Alstine, grand-niece Monica Van Alstine, and grand-nephew Brian Van Alstine.
