Lillie T. Warfield, 84, of Linkwood passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at her home. She was born in Andrews on October 12, 1932 and was a daughter of the late Ollie and Rosie Abbott Mills.
Mrs. Warfield attended schools in Dorchester County. On November 30, 1996, she married William Leroy Warfield, Jr., who passed away on January 28, 2006. She was a meter maid for the City of Cambridge and she also had various other jobs. She enjoyed picking crabs. Mrs. Warfield was a member of Elliott’s Island United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Nina Rogers of Linkwood, five grandchildren John L. Gray, Jr., William L. Gray, Michael Wingate, Tammy Sue Gray and Kathy L. Wingate, several great grandchildren, a sister Gloria Thomas of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Warfield is preceded in death by a daughter Lillie Mae Gray, a great granddaughter Brittany Nicole Ruark, three sisters and three brothers.
