Lillian “Noveline” Evans age 83 of Clinton, MS passed away May 4, 2023 surrounded by her loving daughters.
Noveline was born on February 29, 1940 in Dancy, MS. She graduated from Montpelier School and was a member of Savoy Baptist Church. She previously worked at the Meridian Public Library, Rogers Florist and was a church Secretary for Presbyterian, Methodist and Baptist churches. Noveline loved to play piano for Savoy Baptist Church, her second family. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends new and old. Her Clinton neighbors knew her for her skill with a weed eater and her fondness for working in the yard. She was a blessing from God to all.
Survivors include her daughters, Celeste Evans and Karen Boyette; son-in-law Greg Boyette; and grandson Matthew Boyette
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frankie Daniel Evans and her parents, Clifton Forrester and Viola Vaughn.
