Lillian M. Graczak of St. James, Mo. passed away on July 30, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in St. James, Missouri. Lillian M. Graczak was 100 years, 3 months and 12 days of age.

Lillian M. Graczak was born on April 18, 1913 to her parents: Harry and Avena (Norden) Schallenberg in Franklin county, Missouri.

Lillian first married Homer Pickering of Waynesville, Missouri who worked as a meat cutter in St Louis and farmed several acres outside of Ellisville, Missouri. Lillian and Homer attended the Christian Church near Ellisville and were baptized before Homer was killed in a tractor accident.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, two step daughters Barbara and her husband Oscar Klippel and Wanda and her husband Mac McLaughlin, two sisters and their husbands Stella and Elmer Lang of St. James, Marie and Noah Smith of St Louis, two brothers and their wives Edwin and Elizabeth Schallenberg of St Louis and Herman and Aline (Vetta) Schallenberg of St James, and one brother-in-law Fred Klippel.

Lillian is also preceded in death by nieces and nephews Lawrence Smith, Bob Smith, Virginia Smith and Joanne Swalchick; great nieces Marty Gallaghar and Katie Moritz; two step grandsons Roger Klippel (US Army) and Wally Klippel.

Lillian is sruvived by one sister Louise Klippel of St James and nieces and nephews: Dale Schallenberg and wife Edna and family, Carol Gallighar, Estella Mortz and husband Bob and family, Lillian Baxter and husband Ron and family, Herman Schallenberg Jr. and wife Sandra and family.

Lillian is Gandma to and survived by: Harold Klippel, Fred Klippel , Herman, Klippel, Homer Klippel, Wayne Klippel, Mary Klippel, Detta Schuster, Reggie McLaughlin, Mike McLaughlin and Mark McLaughlin.

Lillian is also preceded in death by her second husband Joseph Graczak. Fater Lillian’s first husband Homer was killed she married Joseph Graczak of Ellisville, Missouri and was accepted into the Catholic Church where she attended until her heatlh limited her movement.

After Joseph passed away Lillian lived with her sister Stella Lange and Louise Klippel and her brother Herman Schellenberg all of St James. Her final years were spent at Golden Living Nursing Home of St James until she passed away on Monday, July 29th, 2013 at the grand old age of 100 years which she was she was going to do.
