Lillian (Punk) Doris Barnicle, 85, of Steelville, MO passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Phelps County Regional Hospital in Rolla, MO. She was born May 12, 1922 in Cherryville, MO to Charles and Lula Jane (Ennis) Martin. On July 11, 1937, she was united in marriage to Theodore Barnicle who preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1981.

Lillian will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Betty Brown and husband Dwight of Cherryville, MO and Helen McGruder of Steelville, MO; one sister, Mildred Graddy of Steelville, MO; one son in-law Willard Bryant of Steelville, MO; nine grandchildren, Tammy Barnicle, Peggy Hayes, Ted Conrad, Kelly Tinker, Bill Barnicle, Larry Hutson, Lori Mabe, Allen Bryant and Bruce Bryant; seventeen great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Theodore; one son, James Lee Barnicle; one daughter, Dolores Bryant; four brothers, Champ Martin, Cebe Martin, Nute Martin and Gene Martin, five sisters, Mae Martin, Lady Stringer, Stella Dotson, Beatrice Butts and Tookie Kallmbah and one granddaughter, Christine Bryant.

Lillian attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church.

Since a little girl, she loved music and enjoyed playing her guitar and Lillian was always ready to go for a drive and take in a day of shopping.

She especially loved being with all of her family and loved talking to all little children.
