Leonard F. Estabrook, Sr., 91 died January 19, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Myron and Sadie (Lisheness) Estabrook, Sr.
Leonard attended North Yarmouth Academy until 1941 at which time he entered the US Marine Corps. and proudly served in the Pacific during World War II. After the War he married Barbara Seabury of Yarmouth and they spent 70 years together celebrating their anniversary on January 16, 2016.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Opha, brothers, Myron Jr. and Melvin Eastabrook.
Surviving in addition to his wife Barbara (Seabury) Estabrook are his daughter, Susan Ow of Yarmouth, sons, Bruce L. Estabrook and his wife, Suzie of Norridgewock, and Leonard F. Estabrook Jr. and his wife, Frances of Dover, DE, 7 grandchildren, Kevin, Kenneth, Sarah, Emily, Philip, Matthew and Eric and 9 great grandchildren, and two brothers, James of Standish and Paul of Patten and one sister, Olive Fuller of Keene, NH.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern Maine and our team of Jennifer, Erica, Marie and Cindy along with the loving help of his grandson, Kenneth and his wife, Karen Rhodes. The family could not have taken such wonderful care of Leonard without them.
