Lee Charles Schumacher, age 59 of Hibbing went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 29, 2016 in his home with his family by his side. He was born May 19, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN the son of Maynard and Lila (Price) Schumacher and was a 1975 graduate of Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School. Lee married Jacqueline Park on September 27, 1975 in Aurora and they made their home in Hoyt Lakes and Hibbing. He was employed as a Lab Tech. with Erie Mining Company and a Shift Chemist and Foreman with Hibbing Taconite. Lee was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hibbing where he served as a Deacon, Youth Group Leader, and as a Counselor at Camp Swampy. Lee also coached many youth sports, and was active with Hibbing Girls Hockey Team and was one of their announcers. He enjoyed golf, disc golf, swimming, triathlons, and biking.
