Lee Eddie attended Sand Flat (H.W. Byers) High School in Mt. Pleasant, MS. Later he attended Foster Barber and Cosmetology College of Ripley, MS, where he attained his Master of Barber License. He also worked at several factories: Mulay Plastics, Emerson of Oxford, MS, and he worked with his father at Advance Construction of Memphis, TN. He also was a part time DJ, at a club in Holly Springs, MS, his title was DJ Soul Saver.
He lost his battle with life on the early morning of Friday, February 3, 2023.
Lee Eddie leaves to cherish his son memories, a loving son who was his heart: Gene Williams of Memphis, TN; three brothers: Elven Dean Raimey of Lamar, MS, Elder Larry Raimey (Mary) of Chicago, IL, and Elder Keith Hughes (Tychin) of Pearland, TX; six sisters: Rosie M. Crutcher of Holly Springs, MS, Delois Briggs (Lawrence), and Idella Raimey both of Lamar, MS, Ruby Echols of Olive Branch, MS, Georgia Raimey of Memphis, TN, and Dianne Hughes of Holly Springs, MS; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Raimey, Jr. and Lorine Gatewood Raimey; three brothers: Willie C. Raimey, Henry Lee Raimey, and John Allen Raimey; one sister: Gerlean Raimey Finley.
