Lawrence Leroy Robbins better known as “Robbo” of Odenton, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015. Lawrence was born on December 14, 1929 in Odenton, Maryland and was the son of the late Walter and Theresa Robbins.
Lawrence served our country as a proud member of the United States Army. He then retired from Amtrak after 43 years of hard work on the railroad. Lawrence was a member of the Odenton Heritage Society, American Legion and the Moose Lodge. He loved baseball and was a diehard Yankees fan.
Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Clara Robbins; one daughter, Cindy Barrow and her husband Bob; five sisters, Josephine Tomasik, Betty Burk, Mary Jones, Nancy Cutler and Linda Formby; two grandchildren, Tiffany Rabuck and CJ Rabuck and one great grandchild, Dominick DeRosa.
In addition to his parents Lawrence was preceded in death by three siblings Norma Call, Dorothy Mayr and Walter “Buddy” Robbins.
