Lawrence O. Hignutt died Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the UMSMC in Easton, MD. He was 77 years old. Born in Denton on June 30, 1939, Mr. Hignutt was the son of the late Robert Earl Minner and Anna Marie Hignutt Minner. He had been a waterman for most of his life. Mr. Hignutt is survived by two daughters, Jenifer M. Johnson (Mark) of Chester, MD and Anna L. Bell (Kevin) of Grasonville, MD; two sisters: Carol Hignutt of Seaford, DE and Joyce Tracy of Greensboro, MD; one brother, William Hignutt (Pat) of Denton and two grandchildren: Mark Johnson, Jr. and Jessica Johnson.
