Lawrence Fred Johnson Jr., age 78, of Portland passed away on November 26, 2016. He was born on November 18, 1938 to Lawrence “Fred” and Della (Shekler) Johnson Sr. Larry was a car enthusiast and took pride in his 1952 Customized Four-Door and 1979 Chevy Pick-Up. Larry was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving overseas from 1958 to 1962. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carlene Joyce (Sellers) Johnson; children, Lawrence (Kathi) Johnson III and Brent (Autumn) Johnson; grandchildren, Liam, Mackenzie, and Rylan Johnson; step-granddaughter, Stacy (Chuck); sister, Judy (George) Landells; and nieces, Jessica and Amber. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Della Johnson Sr. and step-grandson, Jeff Krouse.
