Mrs. Peabody was employed at Peske Meat Packaging Co. in Ionia for 25 years, and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and embroidery. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wesley Peabody in 1974; daughter, Elaine Cook; son, Robert Peabody; sister, Hazel Harrington. Surviving are her daughters, Joan Thorpe of Greenville, Brenda (Neil) Curtis of Bath, Marilyn Preston, Kathryn (Kenneth) Wray and Helen (Gary) Smiley, all of Ionia; 27 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren.
