Age 90, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015. She was born on September 10, 1924 in LaGrange, Indiana the daughter of John and Sadie (Cowell) Jones. Mrs. Hatinger loved the outdoors and nature, gardening, fishing, shopping, going to the Ionia Free Fair, but especially loved her family and grandchildren. Laura lived at Thompson’s A.F.C. home in Ionia since 2010. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Weston L. Hatinger, who passed away on April 6, 1998. Surviving are her sons, Dean and Carol Newman, and Chuck and Robin Hatinger; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
