Kristy Davis, age 42, a resident of Vicksburg but formerly of Ludlow, MS passed away at her home on May 3, 2023.
Kristy was born in Rankin County on May 16, 1980. She had a heart of gold. Kristy was a foster mom for two children for over three years. Her home was open to these children and she cared and loved for them dearly. She loved the beauty of nature and enjoyed horseback riding and deer hunting. Kristy was known as the “favorite aunt” from her nieces and nephews. She loved her family very much and will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Christine Davis and Melvin Davis; maternal grandfather, Paul Crawford; uncle, Bill E. Davis.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Grantham Trippe (Michael) of Ludlow; father, Richard Paul Davis of Ludlow; son, Dezmen Davis (Aayana Chapman) of Hattiesburg; grandmother, Viola Crawford of Ludlow; siblings, Shelly Edwards (Chuck) of Fannin, Stephanie Bera (Dan) of AL and Greg Davis (Angel) of Ludlow; step sister, Brandy Waltman (Chad); step brother, Brock Tripp (Tiffany); furbabies, Shyane, Dixie and Coco; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
