Kirby Breland McHenry, age, 81, of Gautier, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022 in Mobile, AL. She was born August 5, 1940 in Wiggins, MS and graduated in 1958 from Wiggins High School. In 1962, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from University of Southern Mississippi.
Mrs. McHenry taught at Pascagoula High School for 26 years and was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Pascagoula.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vollen Durward Breland and Esta Lee Breland. Kirby is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald McHenry, Gautier; daughter, Kimber Ritchie (Garland), Mobile, AL; son, Don McHenry, Jr. (Kay), Spanish Fort, AL; 5 grandchildren, Laura and Emily Ritchie, Breland, Ellie and Price McHenry; sister, Linda Dale (Bert); brother, Tyrone Breland (Carol); numerous other relatives and great friends.
