Kevin was a service repair technician for G and W Maytag and also worked at I-96 Speedway and the Ionia Sand Drags. He was a NASCAR fan who loved going on trips with his family and being on the water especially in South Haven. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Tamela Hunt. Surviving are his wife of 8 years, Brandi Buskirk of Lyons; children, Shana and Austin; step daughter, Allison Hanley; mother and step father, Carolyn (Loren) Riker of Portland; father and step mother, Roger (Gloria) Buskirk of Grayling; step mother, Barbara Fox of South Lyon; grandmother, Margaret Fitzgerald of Palo; siblings, Tina (Craig) Pung of Portland and Scott (Brandy) Buskirk of Lansing; step sister, Val (Dennis) Keefer; step brother, Mike (Barbara Shaw) Riker; nephew and nieces, Dakota Wilson, Lexie and Chloe Buskirk; father-in-law, David Hunt of Perrinton; Brandi’s grandma, Betty McMullen of Lansing; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
