As their employer, he was a mentor for many high school students and kept those friendships long after.
In April 1983, Kent married Kimberly Anderson. To this union, Kristina and Katie, were born and they were his pride and joy.
Kent was devastated when he lost the grocery store due to a flood in 2002. He was quick to find employment with Wally’s Supermarket, Old Dutch Foods, Mason Brothers, Furniture & More and eventually ended his working career at Marvin Windows.
Kent loved all sports, fishing, traveling, camping, socializing with a cold one, pulling pranks and watching his daughters and grandchildren grow. He was a man of humor, quick comebacks, and most of all his kind demeanor and generosity.
