Kenneth Marvin Scheidegger, 67, of New Florence, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Scheidegger was born in Hermann, Missouri on March 16, 1946, the son of the late Marvin & Evelyn (Eldringhoff) Scheidegger.
He was the husband of Rebecca (Poore) Scheidegger. They were married September of 1992 in St. Charles, MO. Rebecca survives in New Florence.
Kenneth is also survived by a daughter Shelly Scheidegger of Columbia, Missouri, step children Michael Williams of New Florence, Glenda Benson, Donetta Schieffer of Troy, Robin Hankins of Vandalia, Illinois, Ann Bruce of House Springs, Missouri and Scott Morton of Michigan, a brother Calvin Scheidegger & wife Caroll of Hermann, a sister Carolee Fehlings & husband Romie of Hermann, a brother Gary Scheidegger & wife Donna of Hermann, a brother Dennis Scheidegger & wife Brenda of Hermann, a sister Sharon Wilson & husband John of Averton, Missouri, a brother Mark Scheidegger & wife Angie of Hermann, by a grandchildren Derek, by step grandchildren Matthew, Timothy, Cody, Alex, Blake, Michael, Katelyn, Carrie and Dalton and by two step great grandchildren Leah and Greyson. He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Mary Jane Scheidegger.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated West End Tavern and Shy and Schwartzee in Hermann. Later he worked for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers as a cook.
