Obituary
Kenneth L. Cookerly passed away on July 8, 2017 at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of Gloria Cookerly nee Rhodes of Wright City, Missouri; He is survived by his son, Robert (Jill) Cookerly of Troy, MO; daughter, Lauren (Larry) Galenski of Florrisant, MO; sister, Emily Steele of Joplin, MO; Grandchildren, 8; Great-grandchild, 1; He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene H. Cookerly, mother, Ruth Ann Cookerly, son, Gary D. Cookerly, brother, Jerry Cookerly, brother, Jim Cookerly, sister, Estella Spencer. Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. National Guard. He was a member of the Teamsters Union in both local 688 as well as 610. Kenneth was a member of the West Plex Community Church after serving as Deacon at Ridge Crest Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandson, was a gunsmith, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family and dog, Pepper. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
