Kenneth Eugene Williams, 82, of Cherryville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at his home. He was born November 30, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri to Walter and Leatha (Martin) Williams. On May 17, 1952, he was united in marriage to Emma (Callahan). Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Emma and his son, Jeff of the home.

In addition to his wife of fifty-five years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his two sons, Jeff Williams of Cherryville, MO and Dale Williams and wife Karol of Evansville, IN;
one grand-daughter, Kaitlyn Garrison-Williams of Steelville, MO; brothers in-law Clarence Callahan of Cherryville, MO, Ray Callahan and wife Barbara of Steelville, MO and Robert Callahan and wife Rosemary of Davisville, MO; sisters in-law Ima Hunter of Kirkwood, MO and Rosetta Hubert and husband Johnny of Cuba, MO; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Leatha Williams, his brother, Clyde Williams and wife Mayrose; three sisters, Blanche Long and husband Paul, Faye Abney and husband Ralph and Francis Hawkins, brothers in-law, Gene and Junior Callahan and Frank Hunter; sisters in-law, Joan Callahan, Lillie Mae Hernandez, Loretta Spearman and husband James and Nella Callahan.

Kenneth retired in 1984 from Carter Carburetor in St. Louis after twenty-eight years and was a member of the local auto workers union. He attended the Assembly of God Church and the Church of God in Cherryville whenever his health permitted. Kenneth enjoyed the outdoors where he could fish, feed the fish in his lake, cut firewood for his family and mow his grass. When he was younger, he enjoyed gigging and playing ball. He also enjoyed playing gospel and country music on his guitar. However, his family was the most important part of his life.
