  • Date Of Death: March 18, 2022

Keith Everett Lewis Hopkins was born December 6th, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland to Laura Carroll and the late Robert Hopkins. He departed this life suddenly on March 18th 2022. Keith was affectionately called “Spaz” by his friends.

Keith received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He was talented in both art and math. He would enjoy drawing with his sister Sylvia for hours and would tutor his younger sister Rosa in math. During his earlier years, Keith worked as a laborer for Mary Sue Candy Company and Barn Workers of America. Due to chronic health problems Keith became disabled and later confined to a wheelchair.

Keith had a humble and very simple demeanor. He loved to eat and liked cooking, playing cards and listening to music (he would sing to the tune “I like it” by artist Debarge). His favorite past time during his later years was enjoying time having fun with his special friend, whom he affectionately called “Nike”.
Although Keith did not belong to any religious organization he was encouraged by his mother to pray and use Gods name, Jehovah. She also taught him from the bible about the resurrected hope. (John 5:28,29 to a new earth) He assured her that he would pray using GODS name. Keith even accepted her invitation to attend the Kingdom Hall on one occasion. Because we have hope toward God that there is going to be a resurrection, we do hope to see Keith again. (Acts 24:15, John 5:28)

Keith leaves to cherish his memory his one son Keith Jr., his loving mother Laura, three sisters Sylvia, Rosa (Wayne), Starlette, three nephews Justin (Angel), Ronald, Jaron, two great nephews Jeremiah, Xavier, five aunts Sarah, Eleanora, Kathy, Joanne, Carolyn, a special devoted friend Nykias and host of other relatives and friends.

                             Brother
Brother, Your life was a blessing. Your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond measure; Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end;
They simply mean I’ll miss you until we meet again.
 Love your sister, Sylvia.
