Edgecomb- Keith Bachelder, 86, of Boothbay Road died suddenly Monday, April 7, 2014 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick with his family by his side.
He was born on March 7, 1928 in Belgrade, a son of Clyde A. and Ada A. (Fowler) Bachelder.
He grew up in Belgrade and moved to Wiscasset where he graduated from Wiscasset Academy in 1946. On September 7, 1951 he married Beatrice R. Jackson and served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. He was employed at Central Maine Power for 42 years as an operations engineer of the Mason Station, retiring on March 30, 1989.
