Kathy was born on July 1, 1943, to John and Dorothy Geraghty in St. Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from St. Bernard’s High School in 1961.
Kathy met and married Joe Yankovec and they went on to have two sons, John and Joseph. They opened several used car dealerships over the years – in St. Paul and Bemidji. Eventually, Kathy started a job with Ramsey County, where she retired after many years.
After retiring, Kathy spent summers at her place on Deer Lake in Wisconsin and winters at her home in Arizona. She also loved spoiling her two grandchildren and two great grandchildren as much as possible.
