Born in Baltimore on August 20, 1949, Mrs. Hayslup was the daughter of the late Theodore Flemister and Julia Marie HarrisFlemister. She and her husband, John E. Hayslup, Jr. of Denton moved to Denton in 1989. Mrs. Hayslup was a daycare provider.
Mrs. Hayslup is survived by three daughters: Robin Houck-Gosnell (Wayne Gosnell) of Denton, Amy Weber (Tom Hanifee) of Henderson, Valerie Price (Brian Price) of Denton; two sons: David I. Keenan (Julia Porter) of Greensboro and J. Ryan Hayslup (Morgan Vance) of Denton; one step daughter, Bonnie Hayslup of Ridgely; three brothers and two sisters; six grandchildren: Lacey, Joshua, Michael, James, Brady, and Jacob; and three great grandchildren: Austin, Dominic, and Connor.
