Kathleen Joan Burch, nee Housewright, 73 years old, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 at home in Vichy, MO. She was born August 19, 1937 at Keysville, MO to Noah Housewright and Clara (John) Housewright. In the year 1964, she was united in married to Paul Burch who preceded her in death on February of 1976.
Kathleen attended St. Andrews Catholic Church in Belle, MO.
She was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinal baseball team even when they were not winning. She attended a game every year on her birthday and would always watch the Cardinals on t.v. Kathleen was also an avid reader of most any type of book. She always enjoyed going to yard sales and having her own yard sales.
She was very firm in her convictions, unstoppable and a lover of life. She loved her five dogs and three cats as her little children. But most of all she loved her grandchildren with a passion.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Ken Parrett and wife Judy of Jefferson City, MO; daughter, Paula Crews and significant other, Chuck Knapp of Vichy, MO; eight grandchildren, Kay Horning, Anita Williams, Tom Crews, Ryan Crews, Adam Parrett, Bryan Parrett, Jenna Carter and Sid Miller; twelve great-grand-children, Kyle Crews, Brooke Swallow, Dylan Brewington and Krysten Brewington, Tyler, Jaclyn, Jeremiah, Rowan and Mason Parrett, Logan and Mackenzie Carter and Morgan Miller; one brother-in-law, Mel Scrivner of Rolla, MO; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Burch; two brothers, Bob Housewright and wife Annabelle and Lee Housewright and wife Connie; and sisters, Marceline Scrivner and Rosalee Greathouse and husband Ambrose.
