Katherine Louise Ledin (Geister)
Kathy was born August 8, 1961 to Treva Arlene McQueen (Shindorf) and Earl Raymond Geister in Greenville, Michigan. She passed away peacefully in her home on July 19, 2022, surrounded by family.
If you knew her, you loved her. She lit up every room she was in like a sparkling summer day. She was loud, sassy, and the life of the party. She loved to garden, shop at the mall and Meijer, travel, play bingo, and toss back a cold Busch Light. Her children were her pride and joy. Her grandchildren were blessed to have “Gramma Kathy the rule breaker”, they meant so much to her . Kathy is survived by her loving husband Steve Ledin, her Ledin Boy and by her children, Melissa (John) Hixon of Ionia and Steven (Kimberly) Regentz of Boca Raton FL, her very special niece, Mandy (Geister) LeBouef of Virginia, and her step-daughter, Katie Struble of Ionia. Kathy had 8 perfect grandchildren, Bobbie, Kobe, Johnah, Kage , Karsen and Willow Hixon, and Payton and Knox Regentz. She is also survived by her mother, Treva Shindorf, brothers, Michael (Dee) Geister of Ionia , Andrew (Jeanine) Geister of Ionia, her sister, Mary (Dale) Allen of Belding and Brenda (Dennis) Heath of Lebanon. She was so loved by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Geister, her dad, Henry Shindorf and brothers, Raymond Geister and James Shindorf.
