Katherine Ann Brown, age 64, of Gautier passed away on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021 at Ocean Springs Hospital. She was born December 6, 1956 in Ft. Knox, Kentucky and has been a resident of Jackson County since 1969. She graduated from Hurley High School in 1975 and devoted her life as a caretaker to her parents, other family members and precious fur babies. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Audra Brown; brother, Robert Brown.
She is survived by her companion of 41 years, Ellen M. Rayburn, Gautier; three brothers and two sisters, Eddie Witbracht (Marsha), Max Witbracht (Brenda), both of Illinois; Patti Grove (Jerry), Colorado; James Brown, Mobile, AL; Jane Messerschmidt, Gautier; uncle and Aunt, Ben and Jennie Neely of Indiana; special friend, Gina Rizzo, Gautier; four special fur babies, Sable, Sage, Sweet Pea, and Maggie.
