Age 54, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2015 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on October 24, 1960 in Ionia, MI the loving daughter of James Kenneth and Betty (Snyder) Rowley. Karen worked at Community Mental Health of Ionia for many years, worked at Ionia Manor in the kitchen, also worked for Lincoln Brick of Grand Rapids, Dixon Engineering, and even worked in the school lunch program. From 1988 until the present, she was the Deputy Clerk for Easton Township. She also devoted many hours to Ionia County Toys for Tots. She was a great lover of hummingbirds, and helped start the Backwoods BMX trail with her father. Karen graduated from Ionia High School in 1978, spent many years in 4H showing horses, and was a member of the FFA while in school.
