Karen Burton Greene, 65, of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at her home. She was born on June 6, 1947 in Cambridge and was a daughter of the late James Livingston and Geneva Rose Burton.
Karen attended schools in Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1965. She had been employed at Jims Drive Inn, Cambridge Dairy Queen for 30 years and most recently she had been self employed at K&K Kones. Over the years Karen has been a friend and mother to many.
She is survived by two sons William James Greene and fiance’e Jennifer Raymond and daughter Samantha of Cambridge and Michael Anthony Greene and wife Terri Lynn Greene and her daughter Jessica Michelle Trice of Seaford, DE, two grandsons Dustin James Edger and Heath Greene, two brothers James L. Burton, Jr. and Jay Burton both of Cambridge, two sisters Cindy Cheesman and husband Donald of East New Market and Tina Smith and husband Chad of Cambridge and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Karen is preceded in death by a sister Gail Adams.
