  • Date Of Birth: January 31, 1971
  • Date Of Death: July 10, 2016
  • State: Maryland

Kamaldeo Bridgemohan, a resident of Bowie, MD, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD. He was 45. He succumbed to an undiagnosed brain aneurysm while on a bike ride; an activity he started a couple of months ago and thoroughly enjoyed.

Kamal was born on January 31, 1971 in Trinidad and was the son of Toylin (nee Ramnarinesingh) Bridgemohan and the late Bhim Bridgemohan. He grew up in a small village in Trinidad where he was much loved by friends and family.  When he was 17, he moved to New York to live with his aunt to attend college.  It was in there that he met Roger (his partner in so much mischief and lifelong friend), and Annette, whom he pursued to Maryland and eventually convinced to marry him. In Maryland, Kamal built an amazing life with Ann and son Aiden in Bowie. He started his career at Lustine Cheverlot in Hyattsville, MD, then moved to Waldorf Ford, where he met many friends and co-workers. Most dear to him are Mike Collabucci and Greg Basiliko.

Kamal had the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. His open and accepting demeanor put people at ease. His enthusiasm and humor made him the life of the party. He was a fierce friend; many of his friendships have spanned decades. No doubt this was enabled by his loyalty, eagerness to help and his ability to make you laugh with a quick turn of phrase or a friendly tease.

Kamal is survived by his beloved wife, Annette Baney of Bowie, MD; loving son, Aiden Bridgemohan of Bowie, MD; mother, Toylin Bridgemohan of Fort Lauderdale, FL; brother, Narine Bridgemohan of Sudbury, MA; sister, Sushma Bridgemohan of Chamnpaign, IL and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
