Age 82, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015. She was born on August 31, 1932 in Pewamo, Michigan the daughter of Hugh and Jennie (Resler) Barnes. Mrs. Ferris worked for 15 years as a registered nurse’s aide at Heartland Healthcare in Ionia. June was a great mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who deeply cared for her family. She enjoyed baking cookies, crocheting, and loved watching wrestling and Days of Our Lives. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Freeman Ferris Sr.; step daughter, Lila Jean Paget; brothers, Frank, John, Richard and George Barnes. Surviving are her sons, Freeman (Kathy) Ferris Jr., and Sean (Cathy) Ferris; grandchildren, Jessica Sue Ferris, Krista Marie Ferris, Megan Palma, Harley (Paige) Ferris, and Aurora Ferris; great grandchildren, Tommy Paget and Enrique Palma; step grandchildren, Robert and Jasmine Farr; step great grandchildren, Owen, Dayton, Damion and Jade; sister, Caroline (Doug) Laney.
