June E. Sallam (nee Jensen) of West River, MD passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017, at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. She was 51 years old.
Born in Red Bank, NJ on June 30, 1966, Mrs. Sallam was the beloved daughter of Ruth L. Jensen of Denton, MD and the late Arnold W. “Buzzy” Jensen. She was a 1984 graduate of the North Caroline High School in Ridgely, MD. For the past 13 years and until recently, she had worked for the Bank of America in the Annapolis area. June was full of life and spirit, kindhearted and touched everyone’s hearts. She was selfless. She spent the past several years of her life dedicated to providing exceptional care to her husband and her late father. She was a devoted friend, daughter and sister. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Sallam is survived by her husband, Sammy Sallam of West River; her husband’s son, Alexander Sallam of Cannes, France; three sisters: Alice Schuyler (Curtis) of Denton, Gail Liff (Terrence) of Davidsonville, MD, and Claire DeVal (Brian) of Arnold, MD; four nieces: Alex Small, Caitlin Schiavo, Erica and Heather DeVal, two uncles: Dr. Christian Jensen (Gail) of Denton and George Jensen (Cathy) of Dover, DE; and a brother-in-law, Tarek Sallam of West River, MD.
