Juliana Mary Simon

Age 91, passed away Monday, April 3, 2006. She was born on Novemebr 1, 1914 in Fowler the daughter of Frank and Rose
Thelen) Koenigsknecht. Mrs. Simon was member of St.
Mary’s Catholic Church in Westphalia, the Christian
Mothers Society and volunteered at many parish functions.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading and quilting but
most important was her faith and family, especially the
grandchildren. She married Melvin Simon on April 23, 1946
and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Simon was also preceded
in death by her parents, brothers, Msgr. Albert
Koenigsknecht and Paul Koenigsknecht; sister, Margaret
Schrauben. Surviving are children Rose Mary Simon
(deceased), Agnes Simon (Richard Murphy), Martin Simon,
Marvin Simon (Teresa), Rita Simon (Larry Dukerich), Mel
Simon, and Mark Simon (Diana); close friend of the family,
James Chow; Grandchildren Meghan, Leah, Zachary Dukerich,
Nicholas and Traci Simon and Jessica, Jacob, Benjamin
Simon; sister, Mary Klein (John); brother, George
Koenigsknecht (Joan); brother-in-laws Mark Schrauben and
Celestine Simon; sister-in-laws, Pat Koenigsknecht and
Norma Simon; many nieces and nephews and close friends.
