Age 69, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, April 9, 2013 after a beautiful life of being a loving wife and mother. Judy devoted herself to raising a family and being a hardworking farmwife. All of this was done with a wit, a sense of humor, and a spirit that was admired but she never gave herself credit for. It was our blessing to call her Mom, wife, sister, and friend. Her hobbies were few but her love was without limit. She will be missed beyond words. She was born to Robert and Viola (Blundy) Thelen on August 9, 1943 in Portland. Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Viola Thelen; husband, David Martin; brothers, David and Wayne Thelen; parents-in-law, Ferdinand and Pauline Martin; son-in-law, David Keusch. Judy is survived by loving daughter, Jane Keusch (fiancé Marvin Schrauben) of Portland; sons, David (Amanda) Martin of Westphalia, Darren (Dana) Martin of Mason, Daniel (Angie) Martin of Westphalia, and Jared (Erica) Martin of DeWitt; grandchildren, Trenton, Collin, and Connor Keusch, Madison and Gregory Butler and Eli and Kai Martin, Gage and Aubrey Martin, Ellie and Baby Boy Martin, Jace and Baby Girl Martin; siblings, Jan Getzen of East Lansing, Robert (Arlene) Thelen of Portland, Marlene (Wayne) Dick of Lyons, Donald (Patricia dec.) Thelen of Portland, Mary Baker of Battle Creek, Gail (Richard) Hill of Lenox and Wayne dec. (Deb) Thelen; siblings-in-law, Vernon Martin, Norma (Anthony dec.) Simon, Anthony (Dolores) Martin (dec.) Mildred (John dec.) Droste, Phyllis (Richard dec.)
