Judy Ellen Lammi, age 66, longtime resident of Embarrass died Monday, August 3, 2009 in her home with family at her side. She was born September 30, 1942 in Lansing, IL the daughter of Paul and Mary (Overmeyer) Ward; and attended school in Lansing. Judy was united in marriage to Walfred Joel Lammi on November 2, 1959 in Highland, IN.
Judy worked as a homemaker, and was a member of the Heritage Trail Bible Church. She enjoyed being a hostess, cooking, sewing, singing, designing home interiors, and being a camp cook.
Judy is survived by her husband: Joe; children: Shirley (Randy) Biebl of North Branch, Dale (Douglas Pickar) Lammi of Eveleth, Denise (David) Sandstrom of Hibbing, Joel (Ann) Lammi of Duluth, Jonathan Lammi of Mound, and Matthew Lammi of Embarrass; brother: Jack Ward of Cedar Lake, IN; grandchildren: Nicholas, Eliina, Michael, Todd, Taylaur, Valerie, Eliana, Johanna, Thomas, Greta, and Adelyn.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Gene and Dale; sisters: Darlene and Donna; and her grandson: Brett.
