Joyce Ann Riebel, 67, of Steelville, MO passed away, Friday, November 26, 2010 at her home. She was born December 26, 1942 in Red Bud, IL to Clinton Trankle Sr. and Helen Fuhrmann Trankle. On July 14, 2002 in Tilden, IL, she was united in marriage to Norman Riebel who survives of the home.
Joyce attended the Steelville Presbyterian Church.
She loved the outdoors and loved to turkey hunt and fish. On her honeymoon, she and Norman went on a fly in fishing trip in Canada. She also enjoyed quilting and her two Yorkies, Samson and Delilah, but most of all her family.
Several months ago, Joyce was featured on KSDK in St. Louis. It told of her diagnosis of cancer and of her “bucket list” that she had made. She set out to accomplish her list with the help of her husband, Norman. On the list included going to Alaska, taking a ride on a Harley, turkey hunting, drive an 18 wheeler and riding in the Goodyear Blimp. She also wondered what it would be like to go to jail.
