Joseph was predeceased by his parents, his brother Anthony Fields and his sister, Georgia Bruton. He is survived by his sister Ellie Fields-Cooper of Scarborough, his sister Mary Price and her partner Tony Saleme of Windham. He is also survived by his children, Heidi Roy and her husband Ralph, Joseph H. Fields, IV, Jason Fields, Rachel Fields and Anthony Fields and several grandchildren.
