Georgetown – Joseph Edward Kendzia Jr., 64, of Georgetown, Maine passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on November 23, 2022 in the home he built after a sixteen month battle with glioblastoma. Joe was born in Westerly, RI on January 8, 1958 to Madeline and Joseph Kendzia, Sr. He attended Immaculate Conception School and Westerly High School, Class of 1976.
Joe worked as a manager in the design department at Bath Iron Works and as a master carpenter. He was an avid sports enthusiast.
Joe is survived by his wife Laura of 38 years, daughter Christel and her husband Jay and their son Parker, daughter Justine, sisters Patricia and Maureen, brother Thomas, and all their spouses and many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his parents Joseph Edward Kendzia Sr. and Madeline Marie Ange Gouvin.
