He enjoyed playing cards, fishing and loved his family very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Alvin, Casper, Julius and Walter Simon. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Mary; children Don (Theresa) Simon, Marilyn (Joe) Peckins, Jerry (Jean) Simon, Dan ((Terri) Simon, Dave (Debbi) Simon, Chris (Patty) Simon, Paul (Mary Lou) Simon, Teresa (Kevin) Schneider, Roger (Robyn) Simon, Sharon (Scott) Brown, Eric (Susie) Simon, Mary Jo (Mark) Pattison; 30 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother Hiliary ((Thelma) Simon; sisters Marian Wieber, Rita Pung, and Juliann (Lester) Miller; sisters-in-law Anna Thelen, Agnes Schneider and Janet (Marvin) Fedewa.
