Born in Baltimore, MD on April 14, 1977, Joey was the son of William “Mike” Meiklejohn and Dawn Stoner Meiklejohn of Denton. He was a 1995 graduate of North Caroline High School.
Joey was a construction worker. He loved to cook and playing music on his guitar. He dearly loved his children and loved playing board games with them.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two children: Madalyn “Maddi” Meiklejohn and Dozer Meiklejohn, both of Denton; a sister, Staci Meiklejohn of Annapolis, MD; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Stoner of Annapolis, MD; and his girlfriend, Jodi Birch of Denton.
