Jon Thomas Pettinelli, age 50 of Virginia died Sunday, December 29, 2013 in his home. He was born June 22, 1963 in Virginia, the son of Renold and Helen (Ercegovich) Pettinelli; graduated from Virginia High School and Dunwoody Institute. Jon married Lisa Allen on September 17, 1994 in Mt. Iron, and was a lifelong resident of Virginia. He was employed as a sheet metal worker by Bogdanovich Heating and Sheet Metal, Radotich Plumbing and Heating, Shannon Plumbing and Heating, and the Jamar Company. Jon was an avid snowboarder, wind surfer, fisherman, hiker and snowshoer.
