Johnnie Benard Price slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, July 3, 2016 in Pascagoula, MS at the age of 68.
Johnnie began his life’s journey on March 3, 1948 in Prentiss, MS to proud parents, Richard and Nancy Price. He was known all around for his business, Big John’s Small Engine Repair. He married Shirley Ann Jones in 1976 and the families of Jones/Price became as one. He was a member of The Sanctuary in Pascagoula where he served as a greeter for many years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five siblings. He is survived by his wife Shirley Ann Price of Hurley, MS; children, Lisa, Annette, Merla Rochelle, Gwen, Bill Jr., and Steve; siblings, Billy Price, Herbert Price, Louan Jones, Eammy Bass, Mary Lee Simich, Berdina Mikell, and Friance White; 11 grandchildren; Sanctuary Church family and a host of other relatives and friends.
