Portland – With deep sadness, the family of Johnney Theriault announces that he passed on January 1, 2015.
Johnney was born in Maine on April 30, 1950, and lived his entire life here. An outdoorsman and an experienced Maine guide, he also loved to play golf, and spent the majority of his free time plotting ways to escape into the wilderness, to hunt, camp – or search for his golf balls.
He worked in the construction field, building his way up to owning many construction companies. He was a great Husband, Dad and, as “Poppy,” an even better grandfather. His family treasures the times spent camping, fishing, and playing many sports with him. He will be dearly missed. Until we meet again!
Johnney is survived by his wife, Dianne Theriault; sister, Demi Chute; son, Eric, and wife Anne; daughter, Jodi Theriault and husband, Aaron Karp; five grandchildren, Ethan, Kaine, Grace, Valerie and Mavrick; and many nieces and nephews and family members.
