John T. Gardner, 54 of Lake Odessa went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2016. He passed at home surrounded by family. John was born November 3, 1962 to Jack E. and Donna J. (Strimback) Gardner. John grew up and lived in Lake Odessa and he loved many things, but most he loved working on farms, cars, motorcycles, and anything he could fix or work on. He also loved his family and friends. John is preceded in death by his father, Jack E. Gardner; grandparents, Delmer and Letha Gardner and Merrill and Beatrice Strimback; and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his mother, Donna J. Gardner; brothers, Eric Gardner and Nicholas (Andrea) Gardner; children, Sarah (Eric) Shafer, Heather Bowen, Jona VanSiclen, Casandra (Albert) Russell, Nathan (Brandi) VanSiclen, Ryan Gardner, Amanda (Dennis) Gardner, Jacki Gardner, Ashley Gardner; 24 grandchildren; two aunts; one uncle; two nieces; two nephews; and two long-time friends, Sonya Hines and Betty VanSiclen.
