Age 69, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 7, 2008. He was born on July 15, 1938 in Minster, Ohio the son of Henry J. and Mary (Otting) Boerger. John was raised in Minster, Ohio and received his BA in Mechanical Engineering and his MBA from the University of Dayton. He was the Executive Vice President for N.H.K., a joint venture with the Lear Corporation. He was very active as a community volunteer serving on the Portland CIty Council, the Planning Commission, the Zoning Board of Appeals, and was a member of the Portland Civic Club.
