Boyd, John F. age 83 of Livonia and formerly of Indianapolis. Loving brother of Mary Barnes, brother-in-law Al Sobey and sister-in-law Barbara Boyd. Dearest friend of Stephen Barnhart and the late Frank Ross. Proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his dear parents Guy and Esther, sister Barbara Sobey, brother Phil and brother-in-law Earl Barnes. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. John was a graduate of the University of Chicago, served in the Navy in WWII, trustee during the preservation of Orchestra Hall, Vice President of the Investment Dept. at Comerica Bank and worked for Citizen’s for Better Care.
