John C. Pier

John was born in Lansing, Michigan. He graduated from J.W. Sexton High School in 1962. He worked in banking in both Lansing and Portland. Most of his career was at Maynard Allen State Bank in Portland as Vice President.
In retirement, John enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, and gardening.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Bonnie L. Pier (O’Connor); sons, Tadd (Peggy) Pier and Aaron (Dawn) Pier; grandchildren, Miles, Zachary, Wesley, and Cassidy Pier; brothers, Delbert and Robert Pier; and many other special friends. John was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy DeVoe and brother, Keith Pier.
