John B. Areias, age 86 of East Taunton, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of Arlene (Vaz Lima) Areias.
Before retiring, John was employed with Nissan Motor Corp. USA in Mansfield as a warehouse supervisor.
Besides his beloved wife Arlene of over 64 years, he is survived by his loving children; Dr. Joseph Areias of Taunton and Gloria-Jean Fitzgerald and her husband David of East Taunton, grandfather of Lauren and her husband Blaze, Ryan and his fiancé Chelsea, Nicholas, Luke, Sabrina, Jack and Isabelle. He was the brother of Louis Areias and his wife Jane, Lucy Cozzone and her husband Jim, and Mary Silva all of Taunton.
